피로·빈혈 자주 나타나면 '골수형성이상증후' 의심 혈액은 우리 몸 곳곳에 산소와 영양소를 공급하고, 면역기능을 유지하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다. 혈액은 골수에서 만들어진다. 골수에 문제가 생기면, 건강한 혈액세포가 충분히 생성되지 못해 다양한 신체 이상 증상으로 이어질 수 있다. 골수형성이상증후군은 골수 기능 이상으로 인해 백혈구, 적혈구, 혈소판 등 혈액세포의 생성에 장애가 생기는 질환이다. 빈혈, 감염, 출혈 위험을 증가시키고, 일부는 급성백혈병으로 진행될 수 있다. 골수형성이상증후군은 조혈모세포가 변형되거나 기능을 상실해 혈액세포가 정상적으로 성숙하지 못하면서 발생한다. ▲ 이 종혁 교수 주로 50세 이상의 고령층에서 많이 발생하고, 남성에게서 더 흔하다. 정확한 발병 원인은 아직 완전히 밝혀지지 않았지만, 노화와 관련된 유전자 돌연변이의 축적이 주요 요인으로 알려져 있다. 과거 항암 치료나 방사선 치료 이력, 재생불량성빈혈 같은 기저질환, 특정 유전 질환도 발병 위험을 높이는 요소다. 주요 증상으로는 빈혈로 인한 피로감과 어지럼증, 창백한 피부 등이 있다. 혈소판 감소로 인해 쉽게 멍이 들거나 코피, 잇몸 출혈 같은 증상도 동반될 수 있다. 백혈구 감소는 면역력을 떨어뜨려 감염에 취약하게 만든다. 하
